Colts Re-sign Germaine Pratt to Practice Squad
The Indianapolis Colts signed veteran linebacker Germaine Pratt to their practice squad, reuniting him with defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, whom he played under in Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Pratt started all 12 games for the Colts last season after joining midyear, recording 101 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble, among other contributions. His experience and familiarity with Anarumo’s system could help a linebacker group struggling with injuries, inconsistent play and uncertainty after the team’s rough defensive start. Pratt’s availability for an upcoming game is not assured, as he would need to be elevated from the practice squad.
