Columbia Man Gets Five Years for Illegal Machine Gun Device

Deshawn Anthony Harris, 21, was sentenced to five years in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to illegally possessing a Glock-style machine gun conversion device. He was arrested during a traffic stop in Columbia, Missouri, where officers found a firearm fitted with the device; the gun was loaded with a round in the chamber and 19 rounds in an extended magazine.
