Pedestrian Killed by Tesla on Interstate 80

A Tesla driver told investigators he was asleep while using Full Self-Driving when his car entered a closed section of I-80 in California and struck an occupied CHP cruiser, seriously injuring two officers. The officers were later released from the hospital; the crash remains under investigation, and CHP stressed that the driver-assistance system is not autonomous and requires constant supervision.
