Computacenter Raises Profit Outlook, Backlog Hits Record £12.6bn

Computacenter raised its 2026 adjusted pretax profit outlook to at least £425 million after third-quarter trading exceeded expectations, above analyst consensus of £387.1 million. Strong demand from hyperscale and neocloud customers in North America and the UK drove continued growth in technology sourcing, while professional-services gains more than offset weaker managed-services revenue. North America recorded strong project completions, the UK delivered solid growth, and Germany’s performance was robust, with efficiency measures continuing there. The company’s committed product order backlog reached a record £12.6 billion at the end of September, up from £9.3 billion in June, and it reported a strong start to the fourth quarter with a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
