Costco's Q4 sales rise 11.3% to $93.9 billion as digital sales outpace overall growth
Costco reported strong August and fiscal-year results, with August net sales rising 9.9% year over year to $23.70 billion and fourth-quarter sales increasing 11.3% to $93.9 billion. Total comparable sales grew 8.4% in August, led by 9% growth in the United States and 9.5% in other international markets, while Canada increased 4%. Digitally enabled comparable sales rose nearly 18% in August and 19.5% in the fourth quarter, substantially outpacing overall comparable-sales growth. Higher gasoline prices boosted reported transactions, but comparable sales excluding fuel-price and foreign-exchange effects still increased 5.4% in August and 6.7% in the quarter. For fiscal 2026, Costco’s sales reached $297.3 billion, up 10.2%, with full-year comparable sales rising 8.4%; a later Labor Day holiday slightly reduced August results.
