County Roofing hits nearly 40 years as Plainview roofs need repairs

Long Island roofing contractor County Roofing is marking nearly 40 years serving Plainview and Old Bethpage. The area’s postwar homes were built within a relatively short period, so many roofs are reaching the end of their service lives around the same time. The company says a widespread history of home additions—including dormers, second stories and extensions—has created roof junctions that account for most leaks it diagnoses, particularly where flashing was poorly installed.
