Coxsackie Woman Killed in New Baltimore Truck Crash

A 50-year-old Coxsackie woman, Lenore M. Nevins, died after a head-on crash with a commercial box truck at the intersection of County Route 51 and State Route 9W in New Baltimore, New York, on Oct. 28. State police said Nevins was turning left onto Route 9W when her sedan entered the southbound lane and struck the truck. She was airlifted to Albany Medical Center and later pronounced dead; the truck driver sustained minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Catskill Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
