Craft Events Planned, Held Across US Communities
Community craft events are bringing people together to make, sell and support handmade work. In Pocatello, homeschool students are organizing a free fair where young vendors can sell items such as 3D-printed goods, books, baked goods and jewelry, with donations also encouraged for the animal shelter. A Minnesota church’s annual craft and bake sale featured work from local vendors alongside homemade food and treats. In Turlock, a church’s three-day holiday craft faire sells handmade goods to benefit local organizations. Other offerings include a Sycamore workshop where participants can paint a festival-themed barn quilt and a long-running Kyle quilting group that builds community through meetings, shared projects and an annual show.
