Cultural showcases highlight traditions across regions

Universities and cultural institutions are using events to showcase international traditions and contemporary art. Endicott College’s Global Village brought international and domestic students together to share cultures, foods and traditions, while St. Cloud State University’s Journey Across the World celebrated campus cultures through music, dance and traditional clothing. In Tashkent, an exhibition of Turkmen artists’ work introduced audiences to varied artistic styles and perspectives, with organizers presenting it as a way to strengthen cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and encourage young people’s interest in art.
