Custom ‘I Voted’ Stickers Appear Nationwide

Communities are using “I Voted” stickers to celebrate civic participation, with designs ranging from local landmarks to artwork by children. South Portland held its first sticker-design contest for residents 18 and under, drawing more than 50 entries and aiming to make the competition an annual tradition. A national photo gallery showcases distinctive sticker designs from across the country. In metro Atlanta, participating coffee shops are offering voters a complimentary small coffee or other beverage on Oct. 30 and Election Day, Nov. 3, for showing an official voting sticker, while supplies last.
