Día de Muertos Events Honor Dead Across U.S.
Communities in Cleveland, Imperial, Vacaville and Flint are marking Día de Muertos with events that blend remembrance with cultural celebration. Offerings include community ofrendas where visitors can honor loved ones with photos or messages, alongside music, dance, food, art and family activities. Organizers describe the gatherings as opportunities to keep traditions alive, celebrate the lives of those who have died and bring people together across generations and backgrounds. Cleveland’s celebration has grown from small gatherings into a longstanding annual event, while the other cities’ programs feature local schools, cultural groups and community organizations.
