Deli Closes; Two Chick-fil-A Sites Set to Close

Two Chick-fil-A locations are set to close by the end of 2026. In Charleston, West Virginia, the Town Center mall restaurant will shut Dec. 31 after 34 years, with owner-operator Alan Smith citing logistical challenges tied to the mall’s uncertain future; he said there are no plans to relocate and that he will support employees through the transition. Separately, the Oxnard, California, location on North Rose Avenue is scheduled to close by Dec. 31, affecting 87 employees, according to a WARN notice; the reason for that closure has not been reported.
