Districts Across States Post Strong Education Results
Mississippi’s 2025-26 accountability results showed more than half of schools earning A or B grades; Clinton ranked second among districts and Madison County placed 10th. Oxford and Lafayette County both earned district A ratings under the state’s tougher standards, with math proficiency above 70% in each district, while Madison County maintained an A for the 13th consecutive year and Madison Middle School led the state’s middle schools for a third straight year. In Kentucky, all four Edmonson County schools were rated at least high-performing, with Kyrock Elementary earning the highest performance category; the district also reported overall growth and no schools designated for federal improvement support.
