Dolly Parton Estate Names Niece Ambassador
Dolly Parton's estate named her niece Danielle Parton brand ambassador on Oct. 21, 2026. Danielle, 50, announced it in an Instagram reel with a pre-recorded introduction from Dolly Parton, who died of cancer at age 80 on August 25. The pilot and 20-year National Guard veteran said she is proud to carry the legacy in her own way and will share the woman she knew rather than fill Dolly's shoes. She told Extra she faces an early-detected cancer battle and is OK. Bryan Seaver, 49, Dolly's former head of security, was fired by Danny Nozell on September 15 over alleged threats. The estate holds a temporary restraining order under She's Alive, LLC requiring Seaver and SAPS to stay 1,000 feet from employees, lawyers, and partners. Danielle attended the CMA tribute; Seaver reacted on Facebook to being excluded. Contested: Seaver says messages were taken out of context and a disputed $251,000 payment was settled. Dolly's Nov. 11, 2024 letter called his organization very professional and discreet.
