DPS Rescues Six in Bexar Trafficking Probe
Texas Department of Public Safety investigators searched three suspected illicit massage businesses in Bexar County’s Live Oak and Universal City areas on Oct. 22, 2026, and rescued six adult women, ranging in age from their late 30s to their 50s. Investigators said the businesses showed multiple indicators of human trafficking; no arrests had been made, and the investigation is ongoing. DPS said it uses a victim-centered approach and can connect identified victims with support services.
