Drug Traffickers Receive Federal Sentences Across Four Regions
Federal courts imposed prison sentences in several drug and firearms cases across the country. In Seattle, Sang Su received two years for conspiring to distribute cocaine and fentanyl to people in vulnerable neighborhoods, including homeless encampments and the Chinatown-International District; a broader investigation seized large quantities of drugs, guns and cash. In the St. Louis area, 21-year-old Michael Strother was sentenced to eight years after five undercover drug transactions involving methamphetamine and fentanyl. In Georgia, Kyle Ashley Edmunds received eight years for fentanyl distribution, while two other men were sentenced for possessing firearms as convicted felons. In Montana, Zachary James Munoz received three years and five months for possessing fentanyl with intent to distribute after authorities found about 2,200 pills in a vehicle traveling to Billings.
