DXC Nears $2.4 Billion Insurance Unit Sale
DXC Technology is in advanced talks to sell its insurance software and services division to Eldridge Industries for about $2.4 billion, though no agreement is guaranteed. Eldridge is considering combining the business with Zinnia, its platform for life insurance and annuity providers, creating a larger provider of insurance software, administration and servicing technology. The divestiture would help DXC streamline its portfolio after years of declining revenue and leave it more focused on core IT services. Analysts say a sale could reshape how investors value DXC, but any lasting revaluation may depend on the company’s plans for the proceeds and its ability to improve growth and margins.
