Ohio early voting tops one million as in-person lines lengthen
Ohio saw strong early-voting participation ahead of the midterm election, with more than one million voters statewide already casting ballots and lines growing at polling sites during the final stretch. In Clark County, more than 8,000 people voted in person at the Board of Elections office, while Montgomery County officials reported rising daily turnout and longer waits. Officials said fewer voters requested absentee ballots by mail, but early in-person voting helped make up the difference. They urged voters to confirm their polling locations before Election Day, as some sites have changed.
