Skydance names new distribution chiefs as eight executives exit
Skydance has appointed Sarah Bergman, formerly of Warner Bros. Discovery, and Mickey Carter, formerly of Paramount, to jointly lead distribution for the combined company’s television and streaming businesses. The reshuffle will see eight executives depart, evenly split between the two companies, as Skydance reorganizes teams responsible for deals with TV operators, stations, streaming platforms and other partners. Jeff Cross will leave his executive post but remain as a senior adviser, with Rick Baker taking over legal, distribution and commercial partnership duties. The changes follow Skydance’s takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery and come as the company targets at least $6 billion in savings while carrying substantial combined debt.
