Netflix begins filming Inbetweeners 3 as plot details remain unclear

Netflix has officially confirmed The Inbetweeners 3, with production beginning in the U.K. on a third feature film continuing the popular sitcom and its two theatrical sequels. Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas will reprise their roles as Will, Jay, Neil and Simon. A teaser shows the four friends climbing into Simon’s battered yellow Fiat, struggling to start it before driving away with a “3” marked on the rear window. Series creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris are returning to write and direct, with Claire Jones, Banijay and Fudge Park Productions involved in producing the film. Plot details and a release date have not yet been announced, while Emily Atack’s potential return as Charlotte Hinchcliffe remains unclear.
