Céline Dion Returns to Stage in Paris
Céline Dion made her return to the concert stage Saturday with a sold-out performance at Paris’s Plénitude Arena, her first full concert in six years. The comeback follows her 2022 diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder causing muscle stiffness and painful spasms that affected her ability to sing and forced her to cancel tour dates. Dion performed several of her best-known songs, including “My Heart Will Go On,” “I’m Alive” and “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” and thanked fans for their support and patience. The Paris residency follows extensive rehabilitation and limited previous appearances, including her performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
