Klitschko Seeks Temporary Guardianship of Daughter’s Estate

Wladimir Klitschko has filed an urgent petition in a Los Angeles court seeking temporary guardianship of his 11-year-old daughter Kaya’s estate, arguing she is the sole heir to Hayden Panettiere’s estate and needs protection while probate proceedings continue. The petition says property could be lost or damaged before a permanent representative is appointed and seeks authority to manage Kaya’s assets and address belongings removed by federal agents during the investigation into Panettiere’s death. Klitschko also alleges that someone gained unauthorized access to Panettiere’s home, emails may have been destroyed, and jewelry and other personal items are missing; these claims have not been independently established. Panettiere, 36, died on August 16 in an accidental death attributed to the toxic effects of multiple drugs, including fentanyl. A hearing on the petition is scheduled for October 8.
