Ballerini Launches Musicians On Call at Knoxville Hospital

Kelsea Ballerini returned to Knoxville to launch a Musicians On Call program at Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital, the nonprofit’s first in the area. Funded through her Feel Your Way Through Charitable Fund, the program will bring volunteers to patients’ bedsides for live music, offering children and families moments of comfort and connection during hospital stays. Ballerini, who has volunteered with the organization for more than a decade, marked the launch with a performance for patients, families and hospital staff. The program will continue through performances by local musicians and volunteers.
