Wahlberg Jet Skids Off Las Vegas Runway

Actor and New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg said he and members of his team were aboard a private jet that aborted takeoff at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport and skidded into a perimeter fence. The Dassault Falcon 50, bound for Toronto, had eight people on board; no injuries were reported. Wahlberg credited the pilots with keeping the passengers safe, saying the plane avoided airport vehicles and other equipment. The FAA is investigating, and the airport temporarily closed two runways for inspection, causing delays before they reopened.
