Christina Applegate says prior MS diagnosis was mistaken

Christina Applegate said on her MeSsy podcast that a doctor recently told her she does not have multiple sclerosis, despite being diagnosed in 2021. The revelation left her upset and confused, she said, because her debilitating symptoms have not improved and have worsened; she still sometimes needs a wheelchair to get to medical appointments. Applegate said she is back at square one as her doctors investigate what has caused her health problems, and described grieving the years in which the diagnosis shaped her life and advocacy for people with MS.
