RFK Granddaughter Kyle Kennedy Dies at 42

Kyle Francis Kennedy, a granddaughter of Robert F. “Bobby” and Ethel Kennedy, died at 42 at her home in Westwood, Massachusetts, on September 21. Her cause of death remains undetermined, and the manner of death is under investigation. A spinal cord injury in 2020 left her with long-term paralysis and other medical challenges; she later advocated for people with disabilities, including testifying at a Massachusetts State House hearing on health-care discrimination. Kennedy worked in early childhood education, including with Teach For America in New York City, and later supported education reform for disadvantaged children. She is survived by her sons, Conor and Declan; her daughter Josephine died days after birth.
