Jason Momoa Crime Thriller Films Across Oklahoma City

Jason Momoa is filming the crime thriller “Copperhead” in downtown Oklahoma City, bringing a large production and other cast members to local streets. Directed by Tulsa filmmaker John Swab, the movie also features Miles Teller, Tenoch Huerta, Adria Arjona and Kiefer Sutherland. The production is creating opportunities for local businesses, crew members and aspiring performers, including a casting call for two Indigenous men to play tribal police officers. Local participants say the project could boost the economy, showcase Oklahoma’s film workforce and encourage future productions to shoot in the state.
