Depp jokes with Bloom about Pirates reunion

Johnny Depp joked that he and former Pirates of the Caribbean co-star Orlando Bloom should compete to see who can grow facial hair fastest when asked about reuniting for another film. Bloom has said he would welcome a return and still keeps in touch with Depp, but he has heard no updates about a new installment. Depp’s quip did not confirm whether he would reprise Captain Jack Sparrow, and no new Pirates project has been confirmed. The pair starred together in the franchise’s first three films; Depp is now promoting Ebenezer, due in theaters November 13, 2026.
