Estée Lauder expands Microsoft AI across 14,000 employees

Estée Lauder Companies is expanding its strategic partnership with Microsoft to strengthen its cloud and data infrastructure and accelerate responsible use of AI across its business. A Microsoft-supported Unified Data Platform will connect information across the company’s brands, regions, sales channels, and functions, reducing duplication and improving access to insights. The effort is intended to support personalized consumer experiences and product innovation, embed AI in operational and product-development decisions, and automate routine work. The company is also developing AI tools, including an internal generative AI chatbot and product-development capabilities, and has rolled out Microsoft Copilot to more than 14,000 employees. The partnership supports Estée Lauder’s One Operating Ecosystem and Beauty Reimagined transformation strategy.
