Euronext plans to nominate NN Group CEO David Knibbe to succeed Stéphane Boujnah as chief executive and chairman of its managing board, subject to shareholder and regulatory approval. The nomination is scheduled for Euronext’s annual meeting on May 20, 2027, ahead of Boujnah’s planned departure that May after leading the exchange operator since 2015. Euronext said Knibbe’s experience running a regulated business, overseeing integrations and technology transformation, and delivering growth will support its strategy and the further integration of European capital markets.
