Evansville Murder-for-Hire Plotter Sentenced to 120 Years
Samuel Huggler was sentenced to 120 years in prison for orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot that killed his 18-year-old sister, Olivia Huggler. Prosecutors said Daniel Alvey carried out the killing after being hired by Huggler, who was convicted of aiding and abetting and conspiracy to commit murder. Huggler is barred from contacting family members and plans to appeal; he was captured in Spain after fleeing the United States amid renewed charges.
