Fall Arts Calendars Cover Four Cities

Communities are marking the season with a wide range of arts programming, from Virginia Beach’s mural festival, oceanfront art show and immersive park installation to Memphis exhibitions, theater, music and neighborhood events. Columbia’s calendar features concerts and chamber performances by University of South Carolina ensembles, while local arts leaders argue the city should build a multidisciplinary festival and improve transparency and fairness in arts organizations’ funding and compensation. In Arrowtown, the creative arts society is celebrating a decade of helping establish the historic town as an arts destination.
