Evansville plans Tepe Park tree planting to expand canopy
Evansville is inviting residents to plant trees at Tepe Park as part of efforts to expand the city’s tree canopy and build community stewardship, with more planting events planned later this year. Separately, an Arizona gardening guide says fall is a good time to plant native trees in the desert because cooler weather allows roots to establish before summer heat, potentially providing future shade while using less water.
