Farmers Markets Across Four States Set Season-End Events

Several communities are marking the end of their seasonal farmers markets with family-friendly events and plans for the future. Morrilton’s final market features live music, food, pumpkin painting, and nearly 20 local vendors, while Fox Township’s expanded market has added crafts and baked goods alongside produce and is considering food vendors and music next season. Yakima’s final Sunday market offers shoppers a last chance to buy local goods, with some items eligible for EBT or WIC purchases. Cheyenne’s season finale includes a Halloween-themed Trunk or Treat after a season featuring 79 vendors and more than $700,000 in reported sales; its indoor winter market will begin soon.
