Fatal bicycle crashes reported across three states

Three fatal bicycle crashes were reported in late October 2026. In Bridgeton, New Jersey, a 34-year-old woman was charged after allegedly striking and killing a bicyclist and leaving the scene; police later located her vehicle. In Middleburg, Virginia, a 72-year-old bicyclist died after being struck by a pickup, whose driver remained at the scene, while the crash remains under investigation. In Visalia, California, a 63-year-old woman died after her bicycle was hit by a vehicle as she crossed Dinuba Boulevard; the driver stayed at the scene, and police are investigating.
