FBI seeks Whatcom felon who fled sentencing

The FBI and Bellingham Police are seeking Devariae Montrel Conley, a 32-year-old convicted domestic-violence offender who fled Whatcom County before his February 2023 sentencing, triggering felony warrants for failure to appear. Conley, arrested in 2020 in Bellingham for violent felony assault with a DV designation, was convicted in Whatcom County Superior Court in early 2023 but disappeared prior to sentencing. Authorities describe him as a 5′5″ Black man, about 130 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, several tattoos, and several aliases including Trella and Dominic. They note ties to multiple states and cities, including Tucson; Bellingham; Puyallup; Aurora, Colorado; and the Los Angeles area, among others.
