FC Dallas Extends Streak, Beats Portland 2-1

FC Dallas defeated the Portland Timbers 2-1 at Toyota Stadium to extend its winning streak to three matches, the club’s first such run since 2020. Logan Farrington opened the scoring just before halftime, and Joaquín Valiente added the decisive goal in the 87th minute after Petar Musa recovered a blocked shot and set him up. Portland pulled one back through Ariel Lassiter in the third minute of stoppage time, but Dallas held on. Daniel De Sousa Britto made four saves for Dallas, which has won five of its last six matches despite being outpossessed 56%-44% and outshot 17-9.
