Feldshuh Denies ‘Nobody Wants This’ Cast Feud
Tovah Feldshuh posted on Threads on October 30 denying that political differences have raised tensions on Nobody Wants This. "Tensions are NOT RISING. Profound differences of opinion are," she wrote. "Please do not conflate the two — And none of it will be brought to the set." Feldshuh, 77, plays Bina, mother of Adam Brody's character on the Netflix series. She said she deeply enjoys filming and hopes the show is chosen for a fourth season. Season 3 premiered October 22. A fourth season has not been greenlit. In a September GQ profile, Brody, 46, said: "Put me down as thinking it's a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine." He said it was awful so much death and misery had been required to reach a breaking point and hoped another administration could correct policies. Feldshuh told the New York Post earlier this month: "To accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild." She said the charge is "right out of [Adolf] Hitler's playbook" and that "the perseverance of the existence of the state of Israel is crucial to the well-being of the democratic world and of the free world." Cocreator Erin Foster said she disagrees with Brody but it does not change their working relationship.
