Caitlin Clark delivered the most productive month by a point guard in WNBA history in August, averaging 24.4 points over 11 games while helping the Indiana Fever go 7-4. She scored or assisted on a record 44.7 points per game, recorded five 20-point, 10-assist performances and became the first player to post consecutive games with at least 30 points and 10 assists. Clark’s broader 2026 campaign has helped Indiana reach a franchise-best 26-14 record and emerge as a championship contender, with her averaging 22.5 points, 8.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds while shooting career-best percentages. The Fever have promoted her MVP candidacy with the nickname “MVCC,” as her scoring and playmaking make her one of the league’s leading players. While on national-team duty, Clark opened the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup with 14 points and 11 assists in Team USA’s 94-61 win over China, setting a U.S. record for assists in a World Cup debut.

MVCC nickname is fitting at this point, but I'd rather see Indiana's record than any brand deal headline honestly.
That 44.7 combined per game stat is absurd, she's basically running the entire Fever offense by herself.
