Nvidia Approves Additional $150 Billion Buyback

Nvidia’s board approved an additional $150 billion in share repurchases, bringing its remaining authorization to $235 billion, the largest U.S. corporate buyback authorization and larger than Apple’s $110 billion program. The company expects to make repurchases through the end of fiscal 2028 but has not specified their pace. CEO Jensen Huang said strong cash generation from the AI and accelerated-computing boom will allow Nvidia to invest in new technologies while returning capital to shareholders. Nvidia shares edged higher in premarket trading after the announcement.
