Five Motorcycle Crashes Injure Riders Across US

Motorcyclists were injured in separate crashes in Houston, Albuquerque, near El Cariso, Las Vegas and Petaluma. The Albuquerque rider was in critical condition after a collision with a vehicle, while the Las Vegas rider was critically injured and thrown from a motorcycle in a crash involving a Tesla Cybertruck; investigators have not disclosed what caused either collision. Near El Cariso, a rider was airlifted to a trauma center after crashing into a vehicle, and firefighters also extinguished a small vegetation fire at the scene. In Petaluma, a 45-year-old man remained in critical condition after a single-motorcycle crash; preliminary evidence suggests speed may have contributed, though the investigation is ongoing. The Houston rider was taken to a hospital after a crash on Jones Road, with no further details provided in the report.
