Florida, Indiana Plan Veterans Day Free Admission

Jacksonville marked Veterans Day weekend with an annual observance at the Freedom Fountain, honoring service members and the city’s close ties to the military community. Several attractions also announced free Veterans Day admission for military members and veterans: Brevard Zoo, Indiana state parks and recreation areas, and the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Indiana’s offer extends to everyone in a qualifying visitor’s vehicle, while Brevard Zoo allows a deployed service member’s spouse to enter free; the Jacksonville Zoo requires military or veteran identification, and family members must purchase tickets.
