Flyers Recall Alex Bump Amid Forward Injuries

The Flyers recalled forward Alex Bump and prospect Cole Knuble from the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms as injuries depleted their lineup, with both expected to play against Colorado and Knuble set for his NHL debut. Bump had been sent to the Phantoms after struggling to find his game in Philadelphia, but responded with a prolific stretch, scoring seven goals in five games and rebuilding his confidence. His strong play has earned him another opportunity with the Flyers, who are also managing injuries to Travis Konecny, Owen Tippett, Sean Couturier and Tyson Foerster.
