Fond du Lac flooding displaces eight residents

Flooding caused by a roof-related problem left standing water across all three floors of a Fond du Lac apartment building at 92 Forest Avenue. Eight apartments were deemed uninhabitable, displacing eight residents as well as three cats and two dogs. Residents found temporary accommodations, and no injuries were reported; building officials and utility crews assessed safety, with an inspector expected to follow up with the property owner.
