Foo Fighters Open Australian Tour with 26-Song Brisbane Set
Foo Fighters opened their Take Cover Australian tour at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Nov. 5 with a three-hour, 26-song performance built around hits including “All My Life,” “The Pretender,” “Times Like These” and “Everlong.” The set also featured acoustic performances, deeper cuts and cover material, while Dave Grohl honored late drummer Taylor Hawkins with “Aurora.” Grohl told the crowd he was grateful to be returning to Australia, where the band has maintained a strong connection with fans over three decades. The Brisbane show launches the band’s run of Australian dates, with New Zealand performances and a Perth tour finale planned for later in the schedule.
