Foo Fighters to Join AC/DC at Rescheduled Show
Foo Fighters will join AC/DC at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on October 2, 2026, for the rescheduled Power Up Tour date. The show was set for September 25 and postponed over a nor'easter. Concert organizers said Public Safety authorities, consulting weather experts, acted to prioritize safety of fans and all involved. Existing September 25 tickets are automatically honored. Foo Fighters announced on social media; MetLife Stadium said on Facebook that Foo Fighters will join the bill. The booking is their second shared date on the tour. On September 8 in St. Louis, Foo Fighters filled in for The Pretty Reckless after Taylor Momsen was asked to sing with Soundgarden at a Seattle NFL game, billed as one night only. Their 10-song set closed with Everlong; Dave Grohl told the crowd he did not know if they would ever open for AC/DC again, though he thought it would be a great tour. After the postponement, MetLife donated 1,000 pounds of prepped food to Table to Table, delivered to Iglesia Evangelica Pentacostal Church in Union City. Table to Table works across Morris, Passaic, Essex, Hudson and Bergen Counties. No disputed claims identified
