Food-focused community events are bringing together seasonal entertainment, local vendors and charitable causes. FoodeesFest is scheduled to bring more than 40 food trucks and craft vendors to Raleigh’s Triangle Town Center for a free three-day Halloween-weekend event. Madisonville’s Halloween food truck festival plans to add carnival rides, trunk-or-treating and an animal-rescue adoptathon, while a New Jersey festival will combine pizza with pumpkin picking, hayrides and family activities. In New Albany, a church-hosted food truck event raised funds for a program that supports senior volunteers and community organizations across southern Indiana.
