Nonprofit to raffle $494,500 Georgia home for athlete scholarships

Athletes Get Recruited Foundation has announced a licensed 2026 Dream Home Raffle featuring a new home in Braselton, Georgia, valued at about $494,500. The nonprofit says proceeds are intended to support a goal of raising $100,000 for ten $10,000 scholarships for college-bound student-athletes. Founder Norman Washington said the effort addresses barriers that can keep young athletes from college, including families’ limited knowledge of recruiting and eligibility rules and the cost of pursuing higher education.
