Four juveniles arrested in 15 Sheboygan thefts, attempts

Sheboygan police have arrested four juveniles in an investigation into 10 vehicle thefts and five attempted thefts reported since mid-August, with thieves primarily targeting Kia and Hyundai models linked to a viral social media trend. Three juveniles allegedly admitted involvement in some of the thefts; a fourth was arrested after driving a vehicle stolen in Plymouth and leading police on a brief pursuit. Some stolen vehicles were later involved in reckless driving and hit-and-run incidents. The investigation is ongoing, and police say more arrests may follow. They urge owners of certain 2011–2022 Kia and Hyundai vehicles to ask dealerships about anti-theft updates and protections.
