Four Mound Fire Evacuations Drop to Level 1

A wildland fire known as the Four Mound Fire prompted Level 2 evacuations for residents near Wood, Richey, Charles and Prewett roads in Spokane County, Washington. Fire crews responded near Wood Road, and authorities closed Four Mounds Road and North Wood Road to keep the area clear for emergency work. The evacuation status was later reduced to Level 1, advising residents to be ready to leave.
